How can you miss a store like this? As you walk down Augusta Ave. In Kensington Market, this store front stands out and sparked my curiosity. I had to take a look inside. Playdead Cult wasn’t as “Gorey” as I expected…but very well designed clothing by Stu, the artist and owner, with the concept of “playing dead” in mind…obviously. Playdead makes “clothing for the black collar worker”. Not only is there clothing but his other creations including signature paintings of a sexy blood covered woman and another of little dead puppet like characters decorating the store…and I believe for sale also. Come check this GEM out.
